Last Wednesday the always fun to draw Sion Irwin Childes lit up the stage at Toons on Tap dressed as Captain Hook.

Boldly Going

  On January the twenty second Toons on Tap held their first session at their new home; Round venue. The Model for the evening was the ever vivacious drag queen Daytona Bitch, whose sarcastic whit added an element of laughter to a fantastic evening of drawing as she posed as Councilor Troy from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Wednesday is the next Toons on Tap and celebrates the costumed life drawing event's second anniversary, so if you can come out to The Round and have a drink and a fun night of drawing Captain Hook as played by the outstanding Sion Irwin Childes.

Aparently I keep on forgetting to transfer my life drawing images to portable media, so I am going to upload a bunch of sketches I have been doing instead.

The Frozen Throne (Surprisingly not a Warcraft Post)

Hallo all, my day job has been really eating much of my time, and then I got sick last weekend so the creativity has really been taking a Toll. Last night I did manage to shake off some of the rust that has been accumulating for the last week and a bit and work on an image that I have had in my mind since I saw Frozen a couple weeks ago

Guess what book I have been reading.

In Life Drawing news my friends at Toons on Tap have moved to a new location and are celebrating with an Event This Friday evening (I have to work so won't be in attendance); and their first session at the new location is next Wednesday (The 22nd) and is Star Trek Themed. Hope to see you there.

New Year, More Art

Happy New Year to everyone, I hope that everyone had a safe and happy holiday. While I am waiting for Toons on Tap costumed Life drawing to start up again I have been scribbling away. Here are some comic strips and sketches. I've posted other strips with these characters before and I think I will be calling the strip Beware of Yog. Hope you all enjoy it.

Ms. Clause

Merry Christmas (Or Happy whatever you choose to celebrate if you aren't a Christmas person ;) )here are my drawings from the Final Toons on Tap of 2013 (Well the digital ones anyway; there are a few on paper but I gave them to our model Gracie Klutz because she liked them.)

In the new year Toons will be moving to a new location and new day (Wednesdays) I will let people know where the new place is when I find out.

Toons on Tap The Roaring Twenties live again

The last session at Toons on Tap was "Flapper" themed and our Models Bianca Boom Boom and Charlie Quinn strutted their stuff to a Jazzy sound track.

The Next session tonight at the Rhyno on Queen Street and will feature Miss Gracie Klutz as Mrs. Clause. This also causes me a point of pride as I have sponsored one of the prizes for this evening.
