Back from Comic con, In Another Castle 26

  Last week I was unable to update as I was commuting back from Montreal Comic con, but I am back this week with a new page.

For those of you I met at Montreal Comic con, Bienvenue! It was nice to have met you.

First Off it's Monday so that means it's time for a new comic page.

Coming up this weekend I will be in one of the most Vibrant Cities here in Canada; Montreal, for Montreal Comic Con. I have a table in the artist alley and with me as always will be Jack, and sharing space with us for the first time is the awesome up and coming Natorra Ferguson (No relation). As if that weren't enough awesome some of the amazing artist's I'm proud to call friends will be there too. Such as Vitaly and Meeshka, Jacob, Sarah, and Leslie.

As for me I will have three new posters at the table, as well as the usual Comics and Skowls. If you are curious as to what those posters are, I will show you right now.

Been working a crazy amount, the days are blending together. Sorta forgot yesterday was update day; so have some comicy goodness today.

Toons On Tap :Reboot

Last night at Toons On Tap Our model Charlie Quinn totally made me have an attack of nostalgia as she modeled as two characters from one of my favorite childhood shows; Reboot.

She made her own costumes of both Dot and Hexadecimal (Quite possibly my fave character from the show, so yeah awesome)

This was one of my fave pieces of the night. might have to finish it one day.

Tiny Megabyte is Tiny. It would be such a Hex thing for her to shrink him. Another fave.

And now I begin Life drawing withdrawl as there is no more Toons until September, as the awesome organizers Lauri and Jeremy need a summer vacation too.

Last Night at Toons on Tap Gillian Owens electrified the Stage as Sailor Jupiter, for our life drawing enjoyment.Wile I was mostly unsatisfied with my drawings for the night there were a couple good ones, and I will share them regardless, because if you are reading this blog we are on this journey together which means posting both good and bad art.

Toons On Tap Ninja Turtles

Last Wednesday (the one before yesterday) At Toons on Tap Costumed Life Drawing Northern Belle Cosplay and Rhonda Payne Lit up our little stage as April O' Neil and Michaelangelo of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fame.

The Next session happening on July 23 will be Sailor Jupiter themed.

Also if you are at Con Bravo this weekend in Hamilton don't forget to stop by my table in the artist alley and say Hi!

I missed last week's update (Also speed paintings.) work has been right kicking my butt, and eating everything that passes for my spare time. Anyway back to posting comic pages.

This coming weekend is Con Bravo and sharing my table as usual will be Jack and Pookie. You will be able to get your hands on a print Version of In Another Castle, Manifest Destiny issue two, or a Skowl. I will also have some prints and Sketch books by my friend Pam Rose for sale at the table as well.

Also  I have been doing some random sketches so I'll post those as well!

In an attempt to improve my speed and perspective and the such I am going to start to do at least one Speed paint a day (Which I will try to post here before I go to bed) I am hoping this will help me improve on my backgrounds. I will be pausing a movie and trying to capture the background (Not necessarily people per se) in roughly twenty minutes. I will probably be using one movie per month First up Aliens.
