Spybreak!

Greetings all Happy October. Last Tuesday's Toons on Tap theme was An International Man of Mystery. The Model Sion Irwin Childs once again blew us away with his ability to do an hold crazy poses (Like the one of him "falling" involved him resting on his shoulders with his legs in the air for 5 minutes.)

Also this month my good friend Tom Savage, issued a challenge. 31 pages of comic art done in October (Ie. one a day) I decided to give it a whirl. Which means I MAY be updating much more frequently this month.

A Game of Thrones

The last session of Toons on Tap was Game of Thrones themed and featured Northern Belle Cosplay as Denayris and El Toro as Kal Drogo. It was a great night and the models both captured the personality of the characters they played extremely well.

The Theme of Toons on Tap this evening is going to be James Bond. It's going to be a fun night of drawing at the Rhyno starting at 7

Insert interesting title here

As you might have guessed by my lack of an interesting title I have been feeling a little creatively drained of late. The last two weeks my job has had me working six day work weeks and it have been taking it's toll on my creativity and sleep schedule. The images I am posting this week are some I did a little earlier in the summer but really haven't posted anywhere.

Also once again tonight is Toons on Tap and the theme will be Game of Thrones. I'm very much looking forward to it. Should be an awesome night of drawing.

Groovy Baby, yeah!

Did anyone else read the title in Austin Power's "voice" or was it just me?

Last week at Toons on Tap the theme was Woodstock and we had the lovely Gigi Vanilla Hippying up the stage.

Next week's Toons on Tap session is going to be Game of Thrones themed. I am looking forward to it.

Toons; Buddy cop session drawings

It's been a super busy couple of weeks for me, there always seems to be something on the go that I am late for recently. Here are my sketches from the Last session of Toons on Tap; Buddy Cops. Done in Sketchbook pro on my Netbook with my Wacom Bamboo tablet. The Models Dew Lily and Mohagany Storm were awesome to draw and their hamming it up made the entire room crack up frequently.

And once again there is a session tonight, it's theme is going to be Woodstock. So if you are in Toronto and want to draw a groovy chick while listening to classic rock Come on down to the Rhyno on Queen st tonight at 7. You can hit up the event page on facebook for details.

So I fell off the face of the planet again....

Yeah. It happened again. I have two or three sessions worth of life drawings to post and haven't got around to pulling them off of my iPad yet. I do however have last session's drawings which I did on my netbook in the full version of sketchbook pro (As opposed to the mobile app) The theme was Red Sonya, and our model was the gorgeous Rubie Magnitude.
